Jindal and the crew pitch hurricane aid request in Washington

Jindal met with Louisiana’s delegation and other lawmakers to push for federal money in seven categories: levee construction and coastal protection; aid for farmers and fishermen; extension of “GO Zone” borrowing; and community development block grants, to help cover damage to uninsured properties.
